Over 300 senior executives filled the Imperial Suite of the National Conference Centre on Wednesday 13th October to celebrate their achievements in driving innovation and providing outstanding, person-centred care over the last 12 months.
Registered managers, owners and directors were out in force at the event, along with the industry’s leading suppliers and chief executives from UK social care organisations. The event would not have been possible without their sponsors, Radar Healthcare, and our category sponsors Apetito, Beaucare, Care Planner, CoolCare, Fulcrum Care, NDGAI and ThirdAge.Design.
What a great night had by all, honouring the care heroes of the pandemic, bringing all the care communities together to celebrate success, dedication and hard work. The room was filled with laughter and smiles, after such a long and difficult 19 months, it was amazing to be out with so many people again, enjoying delicious food and good company! Our manager, Ann Aubrey was nominated for Registered Care Home Manager of the Year and was up against three others in her category. It was a close call!
The Leaders in Care Awards honoured the care providers who have gone above and beyond in providing an exceptional level of care to clients and residents over the past 12 months. It will also recognise executives in care and registered managers working in the community who have demonstrated outstanding leadership.
Unfortunately, we didn’t win the award this year but just to be a finalist for the Leaders in Care Awards was a big achievement in our books and we couldn't be more proud and grateful for Ann's dedication throughout her career in our home, her commitment to our residents and her hard work and continuous love for her job throughout the pandemic.
Ann is a winner in our eyes
