Our small 20-bed home provides quality care for the elderly in Hanham, based in South Gloucestershire/Bristol. Our home is the perfect place for seniors to live out their retirement or live with assistance from our team of carers. If you have not seen a residential assisted living home before and you find you need to look for one, it can be quite a daunting task. Ann Lloyd-Owen, our Registered Manager will help you with any questions about the Gables or elderly care in general, to assist you to look for a home for a loved one that seeks the security and company that a residential care home can give.

Each resident has their own private and comfortable, fully furnished room with en-suite facilities. Residents may use their own furniture if they wish and bring any personal items with them that will help them to feel more at home. Everyone is welcome to join in with organised activities, listen to music or just watch TV and enjoy the company of the staff and other residents. There are quiet corners for entertaining visitors and they are welcome to join in any of the activities.

Our Manager Ann will arrange Doctor's visits or the District Nurse will provide nursing assistance in the home as necessary together with chiropody, hairdressing and specialist health professionals as required. The staff really get to know the residents and this of course ensures they always receive the attention and care they need.
